Arata Kasuga lived a regular life in a small village with his cousin and boyhood buddy Hijiri Kasuga. Everything changes on the day of the Black Sun, which causes the Breakdown Phenomenon, which destroys his hometown and abducts Hijiri. As Hijiri begins to vanish, she places a grimoire around his neck and begs it to guard Kasuga. She causes Arata to recall the true events, and so the spell is broken, but not before the grimoire informs him that Hijiri is still alive. Arata thinks that the only way to save Hijiri is to become a wizard himself, so he enrolls at the Royal Biblia Academy, a secret school for mages that deals with magical concerns all around the world. There he meets the Trinity Seven, seven great mages at the pinnacle of their various areas (Lilith is one of them) who will aid him in his quest to become a powerful magician and find the truth about Hijiri and the Black Sun.
Tenjho Tenge / Heaven and Earth / Enfer et Paradis

Nagi and Bob then came into the conflict between the Jyuukenbu and the Enforcement Group and have no choice but to join Maya’s group in order to become stronger.
