dark city is very similar to Matrix , an underrated movie that deserve to have more value.
the story follows John Murdoch who woke up on a hotel with no memory, wanted by the police for murder
so he started his adventure to figure out why he is followed by the police, why he have no memory?
and why it’s always dark?
it establishes bridges between the American cinema of the 40s and 50s, the monumental architecture of Fritz Lang (Metropolis, obvious reference) and elements of the contemporary counter-culture including manga, with apocalyptic fights close to those of Akira by Katsuhiro Otomo. Such richness that Dark City requires several visions before being appreciated at its true value. That of a little gem of anticipation science fiction to be placed between Brazil, Blade Runner and Welcome to Gattaca.

Silent Hill is a French-Canadian horror film by Christophe Gans, released in 2006.
It is an adaptation of the video game of the same title, that was by the way my first meeting to get to know silent hill on PlayStation II, by the need to get more, the two movies of silent hill got me very satisfied
